A major outage is affecting Twitter.
The issues began just after 8 a.m. Thursday, July 14 with users worldwide reporting "Something went wrong" and “over capacity” error messages.
While the main Twitter.com page loads, it’s currently not possible to access tweets.
It's Twitter's first major outage in months. Twitter was down twice in a week in February, with users unable to access service.
By 9 a.m., Twitter pages began loading again, and the hashtag #TwitterDown was trending.
